Margate

We have skipped Dieppe. The first weekend was wet and windy, which makes for poor photos. The second weekend was glorious but because the channel tunnel was broken, we had to go by foot with minimum luggage, so the camera was left at home.

So on with Margate. We had booked ourselves a room in the Glenwood. Yell.com described our "Four Poster Room" as "Pleasant, roomy, and comfortable...need we say more?". Strictly, the cheap metal framed bed did indeed have four posts, but the pokey room is the worst we have stayed in for ages.
