Three Flags in Kuwait

We were privelaged to be invited to help Abdulrahman Al-Farsi make a spectacular deam come true - to fly the three largest kites in the world, in the same place at the same time.

He assembled a team of some of the best fliers in the world to achieve it. These photos give a taste of our adventures. Most of the images are our own but they are supported by pictures by Dhari, Najwa and David Gomberg.

First, our hosts, the Al-Farsi Team.

And, of course, a few snaps of ourselves, Andrew and Kathleen

David Gomberg brought the Stars and Stripes outside the USA for the first time

And Maasaki Modegi brought the MegaMoon all the way from Japan

Gerard and Awita brought lots of big kites from France

There was a small British contingent flying for Queen and Country.

Peter Lynn and Craig Hansen represented New Zealand

Andrew marred proceedings slightly with a slight error of judgement (he is getting better but having to write this with his left hand...)

And we had our very own band of paparazzi

Finaly, we have some Group Photos and various things we snapped in Kuwait

Many thanks to Abdulrahman and everyone who worked together to make it happen.

Andrew & Kathleen

Many other people have been writing websites and sharing pictures about the spectacle:
