West Wales 4x4 Revisited

Back to Wales again...

We had a good time with the West Wales 4x4 group, so we went back to see them again. This time, we were in green feelds and wooded glades.

The first challenge was simply to get the vehicles into the field.

Grant in his Vauxuki

Grant, being the only driver in a single seater, generously volinteered that we could have a ride in one of the cars, so Kathleen got a ride with Dave Reynolds in the black machine. She screamed when he dropped the clog and the machine seemed to leap to the first gate in a single bound. Dave went on to deliver the best overall score of the day.

Later she got a ride in one of the Range Rovers. (Richard?)

Andrew got a ride in a Disco (with Roger Cusden?)

But he is clearly not a very good passenger because he had been in the vehicle for less than a minute before they careered into a tree:

Any resemblance between Peter and David's little white car and a Series One is purely cosmetic. It has a Bowler chassis, a chunky power plant and a special device for emitting smoke when it reaches an incline of 45 degrees.

and don't forget Jeffrey Pynn!

Kathleen learned that the driver of the machine with a green rollbar had a border collie puppy for sale but fortunately, Andrew has lost all trace of his name or any contact details...

Many thanks to everyone, especially those that gave us a ride!
